Our Story

Stuck in the Middle was born out of the passion and vision that God instilled in founder and ministry president Sean Meade. A 15 year junior high ministry veteran, Sean saw a great hole in ministry to this age group and knew that God was calling him to do something about it. Sean and his wife Jill sold their home and one vehicle to raise the start-up capital needed to launch the ministry. In the Spring of 2006 Stuck hosted it’s first weekend conference in Kansas City. Two years later Stuck launched a national event tour, taking the weekend conference from coast to coast.

Stuck in the Middle’s ministry has now grown to an international tour with regular events in Canada and plans to take the conferences to other countries in the near future. Stuck in the Middle also works with other organizations to provide summer camp, mission trip and training opportunities as well as print and video resources. The Stuck team has grown now to include multiple full-time paid staff and a dedicated team of part-time volunteer staff.

• To be Christ-centered, an organization that is about deepening faith and helping students figure out what they believe.
