Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend a Stuck event?
Stuck in the Middle is designed specifically for junior high and middle school students. This typically means grades 6-8, though we frequently have 5th and 9th grade students at our events. It’s up to each group to decide which ages they want to bring with them.
How do I "lock in" the Early Bird rate?
Easy! Just purchase 10 or more event tickets before the early bird rate ends and you can "lock in" that rate and purchase additional tickets at that price up to one week before the event (or until the event sells out).
Can we buy tickets at the door?
Yes, as long as the event has not sold out you can purchase tickets at the door for $69. We accept cash, check or credit card at the door.
What does the registration cover?
Your registration fee covers the entire weekend event, including big room sessions, labs, late night and the big show. It also includes event magazines and wristbands.
What about meals?
We recommend eating dinner before arriving on Friday night. Most venues will offer some kind of cash concessions during "Late Night." On Saturday, most of our recommended hotels offer free breakfast and you will have a generous break for lunch during the afternoon. The event ends at 6:10pm, in time for you to get dinner on your way home.
What about hotels?
Stuck in the Middle works with area hotels to negotiate a limited number of discounted hotel rooms. The list of discount hotels and rates will be posted on the on the website when available.
What if there’s bad weather or somebody gets sick?
If we are unable to host the event due to weather conditions, payments cannot be refunded. If an event is hosted as scheduled and your group cancels or reduces numbers due to weather conditions, all payments are non-refundable. If someone in your group cannot make the event, tickets are transferrable but are not refundable.
